On the road to Kitwe!

Welcome to Zambia! What a trip! (in more ways then one)

As I write this, John and I are on the road to Kitwe with our host Don Mann. We were able to fit all our bags into his Nissan X-trail.

When I have more time I'll post more pics and tell you about a couple of adventures we've run into so far.   I should say God is good and a couple of small miracles have got us here so far! 

I just wanted to let everyone know John and I did make it through London, and safely into Lusaka.   WITH all our luggage! (another miracle)  Thank God!!

Today is the day!

We're on our way now! Sitting at the airport waiting for our first flight.




I've been trying to write a post since Tuesday. My first draft started with something like leaving in 72 hours. Never had the chance to finish it and since then, I kept coming back to it and updating how many hours to departure... Now that John and I are sitting in the airport lounge waiting for our first flight, I finally have the chance to finish... Well: 90min to departure!! We're pretty excited that AC was able to check our bags all the way to Lusaka, so we don't have to deal with them in London. The first leg of our trip, Montreal to London is starting out well except the flight's a little late. No big deal, it gives me the chance to write this! On a side note, this is my first blog post from my phone so I apologize if the formatting is broken. I'll fix it some other time.. Maybe.. Stay tuned for more!
